Felix Z. Hoffmann
PhD student in computational neuroscience. Open Scientist.
Since 2015, I am part of the IMPRS for Neural Circuits and have joined the group of Jochen Triesch at the Frankfurt Institute for Advanced Studies. Before, I studied physics and mathematics at University Freiburg.
I study theoretical and computational models of local cortical circuits. I'm specifically interested in the non-random connectivity structures that emerge in these networks and in 2017 published an article on this topic.
In 2014, I worked on a Google Summer of Code project implementing data-centric views to Sumatra. The same year I attended OpenCon and gave a short presentation on how tools like Sumatra can help promote Open Data.
