Research
I worked as a researcher at FIAS and BCF. I studied theoretical and computational models of local cortical circuits using methods from graph theory and simulating highly plastic spiking neuronal networks. A list of publications can be found here.
Open Science
I was a 2017/18 Wikimedia Open Science Fellow and created a concept for openly published, reproducible computational research studies. Before that I worked on a Google Summer of Code project implementing data-centric views to Sumatra. I gave a short talk at OpenCon on how tools like Sumatra can help promote Open Data.
